Get Sinfulicious! It's yummy!

Hello Ladies,

I was away for a 3-Day mini-vacation last week in Palm Spring, California. It was lots of fun even though it was so hot during the day. I did a lot of shopping of course, and during my shopping spree at night, I saw this one pretty boutique that specializes in skincare/bodycare products. Maybe the yummy scents from the boutique that drew me in, or perhaps its pretty pink and white design, who knew! :) My friends and I were greeted by this lovely associate, Jenna, who demonstrated how the scrub, body oil and lotion were made or mixed together, and also let us tried the products first before we decided to buy some. So, we scrubbed our hands with this pink exfoliating salt which smelled wonderful by the way, and before we could rinse our hands, Jenna sprayed this scented oil to lock in the moisture. Few seconds later, our hands were softer and smoother. And oh, the scent lingered till the very next day by the way. Since we were amazed by the result, and of course by the amazing scent as well, we then decided to buy some. It was actually hard for me to decide on the scents because there were too many of them, so I went ahead and asked Jenna to make me the same one like the one we tried earlier. I think it was a mixture of mango, papaya and another fruit, but I forgot what it was. Ha!Ha! So Jenna mixed everything right in front of us from scratch!  It was indeed amazing to watch (I recorded this!). Basically the bath and body products were made from natural ingredients, and everything were made on the spot upon order, except other stuff like bath bombs, and facial moisturizer.

Anyway, here are the pictures from the store, and you guys can check them out at sinfuliciousbodycare.com. They carry a lot of products for head to toe! If you are visiting Palm Spring, don't forget to stop by at the store!

My Apothica Order Just Arrived. Picture & Reviews

The stuff I got from Apothica and yes, I got some free goodies as well with my order. :) Thank you Toni for organizing the giveaway! The giftcard was worth it! I got the package a week ago actually, and I have been using these following items for almost a week as well.

What I bought:

About the product
Anti-inflammatory, caffeine rich Green Tea and coffee reduce puffiness and reduce swelling while increasing circulation to alleviate and brighten dark circles. Concentrated with potent anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants.
1.00 fl oz
Who it's for Ideal for those with dark circles, and aging skin around the eyes.
What it's for To reduce puffiness and dark circles in the eye area.

My Review:

I have severe dark circles due to lack of sleep. I blame that on hereditary and school days. I slept late and that's what I got. This product has helped reducing puffiness and dark circles. Thumbs-up! I definitely recommend this product. It's not that expensive and it smells good. P.S - I have tried those expensive eye creams but nothing worked. So thank you Apothica for carrying this product!

About the product
Gently cleanse your entire body. La Roche-Posay Lipikar Surgras Cleansing Bar is a safe cleansing solution for severely dry skin. It will not alter the pH of the skin and it maintains the skin's natural lipid balance to fight dryness. It is a cleansing bar that cleans better than soap, without drying the skin.
5.30 fl oz
Who it's for Ideal for moderate to severely dry, itchy, flaky skin.
What it's for Cleansing and hydrating the skin of the face and body without irritation.

My Review:

This soap is very moisturizing, and I love its clean scent! I use it as a body soap, and I know I am quite sensitive to anything that has fragrance, or weird ingredients. Well, so far this soap hasn't caused any rash or redness on my body, and no break out even. Will definitely repurchase! :)

Haul of The Day: Illamasqua Foundation (Pictures & Review)

Happy Sunday everyone!

I can't believe a week has passed by since my last post. Geez, I've been busy with personal and work issues, sorry. Anyway, I just bought some new products, and I am going to share my experience with you guys. :)

Yesterday, I bought these some amazing stuff from Sephora. I was actually eyeing them for quite a while, but I stopped myself from buying any cosmetic product because I have tons of MAC sitting inside my bathroom drawer. Well, it was my BF who said, "Get them and get it over with if you want them so bad". LOL. I am so thankful to have a BF who is very supportive. In many occassions, he had helped me picked my dresses, and my lipsticks. Ha! Ha! :)

This is one of the products that I have tried:

Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation in RF 240

Color Swatch on my NC 42 Skin

You can find the color selection at Sephora.com

What this foundation does:

Lock away your inhibitions and bring your confidence to the fore. Touted by professional makeup artists, Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation provides maximum, long-lasting coverage without feeling or looking heavy. It blends easily and hides problem areas perfectly. Create your canvas and then paint your work of art.

My verdict:
I absolutely agree that this Illamasqua Foundation provides a long lasting coverage without feeling or looking heavy. It also covers dark circles like a great concealer, which is a plus. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the color selection. It only has about 9 colors to choose from. I am NC 42 in MAC, and I can't find my exact shade. Bummer! I should be in between RF240 (for deep olive skin with golden undertones) and RF210 (for medium skin with neutral undertones) since I have a medium golden/yellow undertone. RF210 is lighter than my skin color, but I tried it anyway, and of course it made me look pasty/ashy! Blaeh! One thing I hate to see is the color of my face is lighter than my neck! Some girls I know don't mind it, but I sure do! The RF240 color is darker than my overall complexion, but I don't mind it at all. (See above pic). I'd rather look tanned than pasty. LOL. All I have to do is blend it well, and set it with a powder than is a shade lighter, and voila, I am good to go! It does stay for a whole day, and does not cause any breakout. I will definitely repurchase. Oh another thing, IT HAS NO SPF, which is awesome for photography. ;)

I am going to post about others sometimes this week since I have not yet tried them.

Till then!

I am done with school and I am out shopping & Celebrating!

Hello Ladies!

Happy Oscar Day!! :) I can finally say I am done with school for good. Well, not for good, but till I start my Masters' Program. So, I am back to blogging and I can't wait to check out what I have missed all these weeks!! But before I do that, I would like to post some pictures of few items that I saw at Sephora yesterday. I am thinking about getting these makeup items; however, I would like to hear your opinion about them first. If you guys have tried them, please share your opinion! I would love to hear them. :D

Item 1:

                                          Orgasm Iluminator by NARS.

Why I want this?

I like the "glowy look" and this product will help me to achieve that or I can simply use it to highlight my cheekbones.

I don't think it is available online anymore, so I have to buy it from the store. The one that is available online is part of the "Forever Yours Eye, Lip & Illuminator Set".

Item 2:

Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder by Guerlain

Why I want this?

It's a highlighter and a bronzer in one! It is not in a liquid form, so it will be easier to carry around. Just take a brush, dip, and sweep it across your face!

Item 3:

De SLick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray by Urban Decay

Why I want this?

I have an oily skin, and my makeup normally goes away in 2 hours or so. Unless I have a good primer, a good foundation, or base on, what ever I put on will melt, FAST! I think having a great makeup setting spray is a must.

                                                              Item4:

Lip Glaze by Stila in Berry (middle)

Why I want this?

I love, love, love this Berry color! The color is pearly mauve, and I think it is so pretty. Besides, it really goes with my tanned skin. FYI, I am NC 42 in MAC, so if you guys have a natural tanned skin, I'd suggest you get this color. The mauve color is not that intense, so it's wearable. :)

Item 5:

Long Wear Lip Liner by Stila in Aspring (far left)

Why I want this?

This goes with everything! I love the natural lip look, so I am thinking of getting this color. This Aspiring is basically a neutral beige color similar to Spice by MAC. I had a Spice before, so I want to try a new brand this time.

Item 6:
Velvet Eyeshadow by Benefit Cosmetics
From Second Left: Dandy Brandy (Copper) and Where's the Smoke (Pewter)

Why I want this?

I love these copper and pewter colors, and I think they made a great combo for smokey eye look. Also, I found that a copper color will make brown eyes "pop". When ever I do a copper liner, my eyes will sparkle, so hey, this color is a must have for me.

So, what do you guys think? Should I add more stuff in my Sephora basket? Let me know! Happy Sunday!!

P.S - I still need to finish my 30 days challenge. I know I've failed, but I need to do it!  :)

Hello everyone,

Here are some goodies that I got for myself. :) Not much because I have wrapped the rest (all for me) and placed them under the Christmas tree. LOL. I am thinking of visiting the mall again tomorrow, but I will only buy stuff that I really need this time. Ha! Ha! If you guys any suggestion of essential items, please let me know.:) Maybe there are things that are on sale, but I forgot to buy!

Anyways, here are the goodies!!

.....and inside MAC shopping bag: MAC Viva Glam V and Freckletone.

Kiehls' Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser. Good Stuff! My first tube!

Victoria's Secret Sexy Little Thing. I love the scent!! Very feminine.

...and some Sephora stuff of course.:)

I got Urban Decay Travel Kit. I will post a FOTD look using these 2 items later.

Korress Face Primer. I accumulated enough points to receive this. So far I love the primer. It keeps my makeup fresh all day.

I also got the Nars Lipstain/Lipgloss Duo!!! They were on sale for $10 each. Thanks Kali for the info, or else, I wouldn't even know about it. :) There's a DKNY Delicious Roll-On perfume. And oh, the Anthony Logistic Anti Aging starter kit  is for my BF. He's been complaining about his tiny lines lately. LOL. There, I got him that!

Nars Lipstain/Lipgloss Duo in Orgasm/Hustler and Moon Fleet/ Indian Red. Pretty!

Some sweaters of course!

And T-Shirts from Aeropostale. Well, I don't own a nice T-shirt, believe it or not. I've been wearing everything else except the T, for over 5 years!! These are my first Ts in a long time. :)

What did you guys do Last Weekend? Shopping Much? :)

LOL. My BF and I did just that! We went out early in the morning and came home late at night. I had so much fun even though it was raining heavily (still is!!). Finding parking was a chaos and carrying shopping bags in the rain was priceless! :) But hey, it's my Holiday spirit that kept me going. Ha! Ha!

Here are some pictures from last weekend.

Saturday Night Picture: That is Nordstrom store behind me and the light went off right at the same time my BF took this picture. It was around midnight at the Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills, Ca, and the rain was pouring! Yup, can't tell from the picture.:)  And that Michael Kors military boots really kept my feet dry and warm. :) Love them!

P.s: Sorry, this picture was taken with a phone so it's kinda blurry a bit.

And oh, remember the post I made about L' Oreal Paris Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color  where I went from Dark Auburn to Dark Brown? Well, the color should last through 28 shampoos. But it has been more than 2 months and I have washed my hair hundreds of times already! So here is my current hair color! :) I kinda like it :)

....and this last picture was taken at the garage, on last Sunday night. It was still raining and of course a pair of boots were the perfect choice. These are the thigh high with back lace boots that I got last month during Macy's Black Friday, and they fit me like gloves :) I love them!!

So, what did you guys do? :) DO TELL!

I am off to bed now, and I will post my hauls pictures tomorrow! :)

What did you get on Black Friday sales?

My BF and I went out shopping the whole night and got home around 7 am since the Midnight Madness in Camarillo Outlet started at 12 am and ended at 6 am. So right after the Thanksgiving dinner, we went out shopping! This is our once a year kinda deal. I love it and he doesn't mind it either. That's our agreement. LOL. Shopping at Camarillo was exciting! To me, it's an ultimate experience - getting stuck in traffic, going around and around for a parking spot and rushing to the stores. And it was pretty cold too. LOL. All in the name of shopping! :). And of course we had to line up a little since there were too many people in the stores!! My dear BF, as usuall, bought more stuff than I did! So what did I get? :) Some pairs of True Religion jeans (my one and only favorite!!!), some Esprit sweaters, a beanie from The Limited and a sweater from Kenneth Cole. :) I actually saved lots of money on the jeans because I normally spend between $200 - $300 on a pair of True Religion and I paid less than the regular price, so I am super happy! =)) Then when we left Camarillo at 5 am, we immediately headed to Macy's ha, ha, ha, and I got myself a pair of thigh high boots at 40% less than the original price! I had my eyes on them for quite a while ;).

So ladies, I cant wait to read a post about your Black Friday purchase!

XOXO

My latest purchase! Kat Von D Tattoo Chronicles Lipstick Vol 1

I have not tried any of them yet, but I know I will like them all because they are soooooo pretty!! :). These are miniatures lipsticks from her best selling colors. The colors are: Rosary, Underage Red, Cathedral, Hellbent, Lolita and Celebutard. You know, the packaging really captured my attention when I was at the Sephora store this evening. It is very pretty, which reminds me of hmmm, the bible?! LOL. It is quite stunning! Well... here are some of the pictures!!! I'll post a FOTD later this week :) Enjoy!
