Happy Monday! 

Well, today I would like to share some pictures from last weekend since I haven't done this in a while. Those who follow me on InstaGram probably have seen some of these pictures since I constantly update my IG account. :)

So here are the pictures...

I changed my hair color again. This time I was in a hurry and I used this product:

Revlon Medium Ash Blonde.

Result: 

Medium Ash Brown.

And last Saturday, my friend and I attended a big 3-0 birthday party.  Since it was really important, the birthday boy celebrated it in style. It was held at a big hall and it was very formal. We had a great time. Great food and great music!

The boogie dance- I don't know - cupid shuffle? They all followed certain steps! I didn't participate because I didn't know this kind of dance. :)

 Great minds think alike. We both had nude color shoes on! And the place was so dark, we couldn't really take pictures of our faces and dresses, unfortunately. It was like a club. LOL.

Weekend Recap: FOTN + OOTN. Fun Times at a Friend's Birthday Party

Last Saturday, I spent my evening with an amazing group of girls in Santa Monica celebrating a friend's birthday. I have a hectic schedule and haven't been out much so I took advantage of this event to relax a bit and enjoy the company of great people. Anyways, here are some pictures that I would like to share which include my FOTN and OOTD.:)

FOTD from the party:

 This was taken with an Iphone 4. Yes, my hair color is getting lighter, but in this picture I am pretty sure it is due to the lighting. :) My hair was nice and "pouffy" here until 3 hours later. I sure need a better hair spray!

She looks amazing in that lace dress. I opted a yellow dress from Bebe but I wore a high waisted scrunch skirt over it since the dress was quite short.

The skirt is from Forever 21 by the way and I love how it hugs my body! There's another version from Free People as well.

The birthday girl Michelle... sitting in the middle of two good friends and looking gorgeous as always! 

She celebrated her birthday at The Penthouse Lounge, Santa Monica with 30 guests and she picked up the tab. It was very generous of her to provide us a VIP spot, lots of drinks and cakes! :) Thank you Michelle! We had a great time!

FOTD with Bare Minerals Shimmer and Shine

Hello Ladies!

This is my first FOTD of the week! I recently got this kit from my boyfriend's brother's wife, Mel (Thanks Mel), and I can say I am quite impressed with the colors! At first I thought the colors were too sheer for me, but once I tried them on, I fell in love with all of them!

The Kit has: Clear Radiance all over face color, Pink Petal Blush, Eyeshadow: Flicker, High Shine Gold Medal, Shimmer, High Shine Vapor, Lipgloss: With a Twist, Sprinkels, Intense Black eyeliner and a dual brush.

Here is the 'sheer look' I did earlier (kinda lazy look LOL):

MAC purchase and Makeup Look for NYE

I bought these few items from MAC just for NYE celebration. :) I love every single product and I give 10/10 on each of them.

From left to right: Smolder eyeliner, Lipgelee in Bubble Lounge, Eyeshadow in Knight Divine and Special Reserve Highlight Powder in Chez Chez Lamé.

Review:

Special Reserve Highlight Powder in Chez Chez Lamé from Cham Pale collection:

This highlight powder gave me the sheen and the glow that I wanted. YAY! I used it as a highlight for my cheeks and forehead (see picture below). The best thing is that this product does not have glitter in it. It's not that I don't like glitter; I just wasn't looking to be glittery for the night. Even for my dress, I opted a black bandage type kind of dress. :). And yes, most girls in the club were wearing glittery shadows, and sequin dresses. It's new year's eve after all!

Lipgelee in Bubble Lounge from Cham Pale collection: 

I am amazed that I never tried a lipgelee product before! This is better than a lipglass in my opinion because it doesn't feel sticky at all. :) A+! Bubble Lounge is somewhat pinkish+bronze with metallic finish. It also has shimmer in it. Well, I am sure it's quite popular because it is already sold out on Maccosmetics.com, and I was lucky to find it at a local store. Will definitely repurchase!

The rest of the products:

MAC Smolder eye liner: It is a must have for those who love the blackest black eyeliner. 

MAC Knight Divine eye shadow: The color is so pretty. It's a gunmetal color with veluxe pearl finish. For my FOTD below, I used it as all over color and Carbon on the outer corner.

FOTD - KAT VON D Rosary Lipstick - from Tattoo Chronicles Lipstick Set

So I went out yesterday after spending days at home doing my Finance assignments (grrr...too much writing and calculating, my brain is fried!) and I decided to wear one of the lipsticks from Kat Von D Tattoo Chronicles Lipstick set! The color is Rosary and it's actually very dark but for some reasons (maybe the flash?) it looks slightly lighter on my lips! I didn't do any drastic eye makeup as you can see in the picture below. It was just one of those nights where you just want to cruise around the town, eat and do nothing. LOL. FYI, I never wore a red lipstick before just because red makes me look older and weird! LOL. I know red is just a color but that's how I felt until yesterday! And I can say that I really like this Kat Von D lipstick. Well, what I found out yesterday: This lipstick did not dry my lips (I also fell asleep with a make up on! Ooppps! Guess I was too tired =/) and it did not leave any red mark on a straw or a cup!! YAY! So i guess I have found "the red lipstick" for me!! I can't wait to try the rest of the lipsticks later. :)

I was so busy with graduation ceremony & my BF's brother's wedding

...and I havent blogged for a while!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! I am sure did! I had so much fun at the graduation ceremony. My BF graduated with Summa Cum Laude, with the highest GPA. I am so proud of him. I did only 3.4 (grrrr) but i got 2 more classes to go for some reasons and I thought I was done! hmm....but whatever ;) Time to bring that GPA up!

Anyways, here is the picture from the wedding. My hair and makeup was done by Bella Nella, http://bellanella.com/ salon in Glendale. I can do my own makeup yes, but I did not want to stress out. So I had my makeup done instead. It was soooo relaxing to have someone else do the job. LOL.

Bridal Shower Look - and no i am not the bride!

I went to my boyfriend’s fiancée’s Bridal Shower last week and it was fun and beautiful. =) The shower took place at Allied Art Guild in Menlo Park, near San Francisco which was quite a drive from LA. LOL. Nonetheless, it was worth it. Allied Art Guild is gorgeous and that rustic style building tells a story of its own. I can’t wait for their wedding! Anyways, here is the FOTD for that special day.

FOTD - April 30 2010

Yep, I wore blue, the color that I once said tacky. LMAO.
I think it depends on how you wear it really..porn girls normally wear em in a tacky way so their eyes will look intense on a camera/film.

Anyway, i love love love MAC Freshwater! - Blended with Fard A Paupieres and Da Bling as a highlight! =)
I am still looking for 'the blush'. Nothing can really replace NARS Orgasm. I tried with MAC Gleeful and Mocha, but hmmmm...i think i might have to buy Orgasm again, such a pretty peach color you can't really find anything out there to replace it!

FOTD: I curled my hair LOL - tired of having it straight and sleek!

My boyfriend likes my hair all pouffy and wavy..so i did it today after wearing my hair straight for weeks! Since my hair is already straight to begin with (thanks to Japanese Thermal Reconditioning), it is so easy for me to curl it. Just plug in my curling iron and in 5 minutes my hair is big and wavy LOL. It used to take me 1-2 hours to get ready because i had to blow dry my hair first, then flat iron it, and then the final step - curl my hair with a curling iron. Such a time consuming!
